本课程重点关注国际商务领域的重要议题，包括国外市场准入，外国进入模式，跨国企业的合资企业和外国子公司绩效。 本研讨班强调国际商务理论，包括企业的资源基础观， 交易成本经济学，制度理论，国际化理论和制度经济学。 要求学生对论文的理论框架给出评论意见，并发展出新的研究计划。

This course focuses on important topics in international business field, including foreign market entry, foreign entry mode, joint venture and foreign affiliate performance of multinational corporations. The seminar stresses on theories of international business, including resource-based view of the firm, transaction cost economics, institutional theory, internationalization theory, and institutional economics. Students are required to provide critical review of theoretical frameworks of papers and develop new research proposals.

外教简介：

陈文娟教授，现任香港大学经济与工商管理学院副院长，是管理与商业战略领域权威专家。她主要研究方向包括海外市场进入决策,进入模式选择, 国际合资企业, 跨国企业绩效等。陈文娟教授在Strategic Management Journal、Journal of International Business Studies等管理学和国际商务顶级期刊上发表多篇论文。陈文娟教授受邀在国际顶级学术会议Academy of Management Conference, Academy of International Business Conference, Asia Academy of Management Conference等发表主旨演讲，多次获得管理学最佳论文奖。
